Role description

Synertek is hiring a day-shift welder in Lévis to produce steel, stainless-steel and aluminum assemblies where appearance matters as much as strength. The work is primarily MIG welding with occasional TIG welding.

Main responsibilities

  • Read and interpret plans and welding symbols.
  • Prepare assemblies and perform mainly MIG welding, with occasional TIG work.
  • Complete finishing work and inspect part quality before the next production stage.
  • Detect anomalies, check deviations and solve problems before production continues.
  • Organize work independently and safely.
  • Suggest improvements to fabrication and assembly methods.

Qualifications

  • Good foundation in MIG welding and a strong interest in precision work.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and welding symbols.
  • Attention to detail, precision, aesthetic awareness and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to solve problems, learn new techniques and work independently.
  • Openness to TIG welding and learning new welding technologies.

Additional information

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Posted pay: CAD 29.82 to 33.57 gross per hour at hiring, depending on experience.

Status: permanent, full-time, stable day shift.
