Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting an Accounting Manager for a Markham IT company. The manager leads billing, invoicing, collections, daily accounting, expenses, AP and reconciliations; implements internal controls; collaborates with external accountants on tax strategy and filings; produces financial reporting and profitability/trend analysis; leads budgeting and forecasting; improves scalable finance processes; maintains regulatory/reporting compliance; and identifies opportunities for government incentives and tax benefits.
Qualifications
Experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Specialist; CPA, CA, CMA or CFA designation required; strong accounting, reporting and compliance knowledge; QuickBooks, Excel and financial-tool proficiency; strong analytical/problem-solving and decision-making; leadership and cross-department communication; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
