Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting an Associate Accountant for a firm serving the entertainment industry. Reporting to Partners, Principals and Senior Associates, the accountant handles bookkeeping, AP/AR administration, cash-flow projections and cash management, bank and credit-card reconciliations, royalty tracking, budgeting and budget-to-actual analysis, tour-settlement spot audits and float reconciliations, grant/subsidy reporting, GST/HST reconciliations and source-deduction remittances while supporting a varied client portfolio.
Qualifications
1–2 years of corporate-accounting experience; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent experience; strong organization and ability to deliver in a deadline-driven environment; strong interpersonal and communication skills. Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online experience are assets.
