Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting an Assurance & Advisory Senior Manager / Principal for a well-established mid-sized North York CPA firm. The role leads a portfolio of audit and review engagements from planning through completion, reviews financial statements and working papers, advises privately held and owner-managed businesses on accounting and financial-reporting matters, identifies operational and reporting issues, manages deadlines and budgets, develops client relationships, oversees managers and accountants, mentors the assurance team and contributes to quality-control processes and business development.
Qualifications
CPA designation required; at least 6 years of management-level public-accounting experience including 3+ years at Senior Manager level; extensive Canadian audit/review engagement experience; strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards; experience with privately held/owner-managed businesses; demonstrated leadership, client management, analytical/advisory ability and multi-engagement management. Business development is an asset for Principal-level candidates.
Additional information
