Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a Canadian & U.S. Tax Manager for a well-established North York accounting practice serving personal and corporate tax clients on both sides of the border. This hands-on review role reviews Canadian and U.S. personal/corporate returns, financial statements and compilation engagements, reviews junior work, provides technical guidance, manages workflow and deadlines, handles technical/client inquiries, supports quality control and helps grow both the Canadian and U.S. tax practices.
Qualifications
Strong experience in both Canadian and U.S. taxation; review of personal and corporate tax returns; knowledge of Canadian T2 returns; financial-statement and compilation review experience; strong technical tax knowledge and independence. CPA or equivalent, cross-border tax experience, staff supervision/mentoring, complex U.S. return review and cloud tax software familiarity are preferred.
Additional information
Primarily in-office in North York, 4–5 days per week, four weeks paid vacation, flexible family-friendly environment, free parking and stable year-round workload.
