Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a Controller for a registered investment-management firm in Burlington. The Controller manages fund and corporate audits, reviews and validates financial data, uses QuickBooks for entries and monthly reporting, helps oversee weekly/monthly NAV calculations and transactional activity, supports the compliance framework and regulatory reporting and assists the management team with additional financial and operational priorities.
Qualifications
CPA, CA preferred; strong Excel and QuickBooks understanding; excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving; independence and ability to perform in a fast-paced team; strong organization and interpersonal skills; effective written/verbal English communication.
Additional information
Full-time Burlington office role, roughly 40 hours/week with personal flexibility. Competitive salary and bonus potential, healthcare spending account and family-oriented culture; remote work only occasionally for emergencies/special circumstances.
