Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting an Industrial Millwright for an aluminum-extrusion manufacturer in Pickering. The millwright troubleshoots, repairs and maintains heavy industrial equipment including hydraulics, bearings, chains and conveyors; performs arc welding; maintains natural-gas furnaces; works with belts, couplings and alignments; carries out preventive maintenance and inspections; reduces downtime; follows safety procedures and collaborates with the maintenance team to support production.
Qualifications
Certified Ontario 433A Millwright/Industrial Mechanic; 5–8 years in heavy industry; strong hydraulics, conveyors and mechanical troubleshooting; arc welding and natural-gas-furnace maintenance; knowledge of belts, couplings and alignments; strong safety and problem-solving. Must be able to work 12-hour continental rotating shifts including days, nights and weekends.
