Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a Markham public-accounting practice. The accountant performs audits and reviews under ASPE and NFP ASPE, researches and documents accounting issues, completes compilation engagements and year-end T2 corporate returns, prepares supplementary and nonprofit filings where needed, prepares T3/T4/T5 summaries and T1 personal returns, supports CRA audits and appeals, assists partners with tax research and integrated planning and maintains direct communication with clients, CRA, partners and staff.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of public-accounting experience; direct practical audit/review experience from planning through completion; financial-statement audits and reviews; Taxprep or Profile; CaseWare; preparation of personal and corporate tax returns. Completed or in-progress CPA designation is preferred.
