Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a growing Mississauga CPA firm. The accountant leads assurance and compilation engagements, prepares working papers and corporate/personal tax returns, compiles financial statements with customized note disclosures, manages engagement timelines and client communication, supervises and trains junior team members, keeps partners informed of progress and develops an understanding of client businesses to proactively address accounting and tax needs.
Qualifications
University degree plus CPA, CA designation; minimum 3 years in a CPA firm including audit experience and demonstrated engagement/team leadership; strong organization, detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities; excellent client-facing communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively; proficiency in standard CPA-firm applications and solid Canadian corporate/personal tax knowledge.
