Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a fully designated Senior Accountant for a well-established North York public-accounting firm serving owner-managed businesses and individuals. Approximately 80% of the workload is Notice to Reader / compilation engagements and 20% assurance work. The accountant manages client files, prepares and reviews working papers, financial statements and tax returns, communicates directly with clients and supports the firm’s long-term succession and growth plans.
Qualifications
CPA designation required; solid Canadian public-accounting experience; strong compilation/NTR experience and competence with assurance work; Canadian tax and accounting knowledge; ability to manage multiple files and deadlines while providing strong client service. Relevant public-accounting software experience is expected.
