Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a Senior Manager for a Mississauga CPA firm. The manager independently completes and supervises larger field and office assignments, leads assurance and compilation engagements, reviews corporate/personal/trust tax work, researches and resolves accounting/audit/tax issues, manages budgets, WIP and billing, leads year-end planning, presents financial statements, maintains senior client relationships and mentors junior team members. The position is explicitly positioned for advancement, including potential partnership.
Qualifications
University degree plus CPA, CA designation; 7+ years in a CPA firm including audit experience; demonstrated ability to lead and review working-paper files; experience with Canadian corporate, personal and trust tax; strong organization, accuracy, client-service communication and ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in teams; proficiency in standard CPA-firm applications.
