Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a Senior Tax Manager / Tax Principal for a growing mid-sized North York CPA firm. The senior tax leader provides Canadian tax planning and advisory services, reviews complex corporate/personal/trust/partnership returns, advises on reorganizations, estate and succession planning and shareholder transactions, researches legislation and CRA positions, prepares or reviews technical memoranda, leads complex client engagements, guides managers and staff, develops client relationships, supports business development and mentors the tax team.
Qualifications
CPA designation required plus CPA In-Depth Tax Program or Master’s degree in Taxation; significant Canadian public-accounting tax experience, ideally in a mid-sized firm; strong corporate/personal taxation and planning knowledge; experience with reorganizations and complex matters is an asset; strong research, client-management, leadership and communication skills; business-development capability is valuable for Principal-level candidates.
