Role description
TorontoJobs.ca is recruiting a U.S. Tax Manager for a Thornhill law-and-tax firm specializing in Canadian/U.S. legal, tax and accounting matters for individuals, corporations, sports/entertainment clients and businesses with cross-border interests. The manager leads compliance engagements for U.S. and combined U.S.-Canadian individual income and estate tax returns, reviews work for quality and completeness, manages timelines and client clarification, and develops, coaches and trains team members.
Qualifications
Professional accounting designation is an asset; minimum 5 years of personal-income-tax experience, with Canadian and U.S. personal tax knowledge an advantage; demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, clients and staff; strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to work under pressure with a proactive approach.
Additional information
Full-time Thornhill position; compensation commensurate with experience.
