Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing

Role overview

Trevor Frances Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a growing manufacturing organization supporting two Brampton production facilities and approximately 220 employees in a 24-hour, three-shift environment. The role acts as the primary HR business partner to plant leadership and supervisors and combines employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, HR systems, analytics and health-and-safety collaboration.

Responsibilities

The manager advises on investigations, discipline and terminations, supports workforce planning and safety/engagement initiatives, manages high-volume recruiting and onboarding and maintains employee data and payroll-related changes in ADP Workforce Now. The role serves employees across shifts, tracks turnover, absenteeism and overtime and contributes to workforce KPI reporting while maintaining strong visibility on the production floor.

• Approximately 8–12 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong manufacturing or industrial HR background and experience supporting multi-shift operations.
• ADP Workforce Now experience is required.
• Strong understanding of timecards, shift schedules, payroll-related HR processes and workforce metrics.
• Excellent employee-relations, investigation and business-partnering capability.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working directly with frontline teams.
• CHRP designation is an asset, not a requirement.
