Role description
Role
The Justice Institute of British Columbia is seeking an Education Process Specialist to improve education workflows, service quality and operational effectiveness. The role analyzes current processes, identifies risks and gaps, and leads redesign and standardization using continuous-improvement methods.
Responsibilities
- Map and redesign workflows and develop process maps, SOPs and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define future-state processes and clarify responsibilities.
- Support system enhancements, automation, business cases, implementation planning and change management.
- Use data and root-cause analysis to measure impact and sustain improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
- Relevant process/project certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma or PMP.
- 3+ years in workflow analysis, process mapping, business-process improvement or operations analysis.
- Experience with Lean/TPS/A3/Kaizen/Six Sigma and tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or Miro.
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
Additional information
Regular full-time, 35 hours per week. Candidate must be within commuting distance of the New Westminster campus; hybrid arrangements may be considered. Salary range is $65,662.38–$74,706.03 with extended health/dental benefits and pension eligibility after six months.
