Vice President Marketing

Mandate

SmartSkin Technologies is appointing a Vice President, Marketing to turn marketing into a more strategic driver of commercial growth. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and joining the senior leadership team, this person will lead a team of three with an additional vacancy and own the marketing budget.

Responsibilities

• Clarify market positioning and narrative, build demand-generation programs and strengthen product marketing.
• Partner closely with Sales on pipeline creation, enterprise account strategy and commercial priorities.
• Lead brand, content, events, website, collateral and marketing technology while establishing stronger measurement and reporting.
• Build the team and operating rhythm needed for a growing global B2B technology company.

Terms

Fredericton is preferred; Atlantic Canada candidates can be considered with regular head-office presence. Base salary is $140,000–$160,000 plus a 20% performance bonus.

• Senior B2B marketing leadership experience in technical, enterprise or complex commercial environments.
• Ability to build a strategic marketing function while remaining hands-on during a growth phase.
• Strong partnership with sales and comfort owning positioning, demand generation, product marketing, budget and performance measurement.
• Regular in-person presence in Fredericton and travel as required.
