Corporate Legal Counsel (2–4 years corporate / M&A experience)

Current corporate legal role with Dexterra Group in Toronto's west end. The lawyer learns the business through site exposure, then plays an active role in reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, shareholder and joint-venture agreements and M&A transactions. The position also provides training, risk-management and compliance advice and supports public-company requirements. It reports to the EVP Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and is offered in a hybrid arrangement.

Approximately 2–4 years of corporate/M&A experience from a leading firm or corporation; strong negotiation, drafting and problem-solving skills; M&A, debt financing and Canadian/US public-company reporting experience are assets; practical business-centered judgment and ability to prioritize competing matters.
