Recruitment Consultant

About the opportunity

TekRek is hiring a Recruitment Consultant in Toronto to work with technology companies across Canada and the United States.

The consultant will combine agency recruitment and business development: building sales funnels, mapping markets, attending industry events, networking with AI, software-development and product professionals, sourcing and qualifying candidates, advising candidates on opportunities and maintaining a structured candidate database.

Key responsibilities

• The role is part of TekRek’s specialist technology-recruitment team and offers direct exposure to client development as well as candidate delivery.

Qualifications

• The posting asks for three to six years of experience in recruitment, business consulting, sales or a technical discipline such as software engineering, data science or project work.
• B2B sales experience is required.
• TekRek is looking for strong task management, personal ownership, relationship-building ability and clear written and verbal communication.
• Candidates should be comfortable balancing prospecting, candidate sourcing, client conversations and database discipline in a growing agency environment.

Position details

• Full-time, on-site role in Toronto, Ontario, 40 hours per week.
• Public salary range: CAD 60,000–80,000 plus commission.
