Bag Machine Operator - rotating shifts - Mississauga

Permanent rotating-shift bag-machine operator role in Mississauga running bag-converting equipment in a printing/packaging environment. The operator prepares rolls and re-webs material, sets and adjusts machine speeds, slits and blades, bottom-paster and glue systems, monitors product quality, records production through ShopFloor, palletizes finished goods and keeps the work area and equipment clean. Mechanical aptitude and prior printing or bag-converting experience are valued, with responsibility for output, quality and safe machine operation across day, afternoon and night rotations.

High school diploma or GED required. The posting prefers 3+ years in the printing industry with experience on similar equipment and requires good mechanical aptitude and the ability to bend and lift up to 50 lb.
