Foreman / Supervisor

Permanent frontline supervisory role leading crews involved in fabrication, repair, installation and maintenance of pressure-retaining equipment. The foreperson organizes and directs shop activity, coordinates with engineering/project management/QA-QC and safety, assigns daily production work, manages manpower and equipment priorities, supports weld inspection and heavy lifts, schedules overtime, enforces safety permits and workplace standards, develops personnel, reviews drawings and bills of material, coordinates subcontractors and NDE activities and reports production issues and project status.

Community-college diploma plus journeyperson certification in welding, electrical or maintenance-mechanic trade is required. Candidates need project-management experience coordinating staff and contractors, manpower/equipment planning ability, blueprint reading, budget awareness, strong communication/problem-solving skills, coaching/mentoring experience and ability to work in a highly regulated safety-critical environment.

Permanent position in Oakville, Ontario. Published pay is $100,000 per year. Overtime may be required and work may occur indoors and outdoors with appropriate PPE. Recruiter contact: Naiera Fulgado.
