Role description
Permanent industrial CAPEX project-management role managing selected capital projects through the full lifecycle, from scope and design basis through equipment specifications, execution, commissioning and start-up. Projects range from approximately $50,000 to more than $5 million. The manager works with external consultants, tracks financial performance and scope changes, reports status to stakeholders and the executive team, documents lessons learned and supports annual and 3–5 year capital planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required and P.Eng. is preferred. The role calls for 5–7 years of industrial/manufacturing experience plus previous project-management experience. It is specifically intended for candidates with industrial/manufacturing capital-project experience rather than only IT, project coordination or construction-only backgrounds.
