Role overview

Trans-United Consultants is recruiting a licensed Industrial Mechanic/Millwright for a permanent Leamington manufacturing role. The position installs, aligns, dismantles, moves, troubleshoots and maintains stationary industrial machinery and mechanical systems and requires broad practical knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and power-transmission equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, dismantle and move machinery such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators.
• Use hand and power tools and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors for equipment installation and repair.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power-transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Work with programmable logic controls and support equipment setup and repair.
• Maintain a safe and reliable manufacturing environment while rotating through three shifts.

• 433A Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification required.
• Thorough knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Previous welding experience.
• Ability to work a three-shift rotation.
• Hands-on industrial machinery installation, troubleshooting and maintenance capability.
