Senior Mechanical Designer - Heavy Material Handling Equipment

Senior mechanical-design role in Mississauga focused on custom heavy material-handling equipment and engineered steel systems. The designer develops concepts, calculations, layouts, detailed drawings and bills of material, interprets project specifications, coordinates with multiple engineering disciplines, supports feasibility and proposal work, performs field investigations and provides installation and sales support. The position also leads or mentors a small design team. A mechanical-engineering degree and extensive custom-equipment design experience are expected; P.Eng. is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of custom and/or out-of-the-box mechanical-design experience are required. An available design portfolio is requested. P.Eng. registration is preferred but not mandatory.
